You are an idiot. You really, really think that’s true? Oh my God, I can’t believe you even stated that as a supportive argument. Like are you for real?

It is widely (and wrongly) believed that Aisha was 6 years old at the time of her marriage with Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). They believe he waited till she was 9 till they consummated their marriage (also wrong). But before I explain, it’s important to note that the marriage of a someone young (not as young as 9 though) to someone much older was considered rather conventional 1400 years ago. And although this particular scenario is a myth, it’s not like girls didn’t marry at 12/13.
But I digress.
First of all, the reports of her being so young came from Hisham bin Urwa, and they came from his father, and his father alone. Thus, they are unreliable as sources. In fact, this claim was made by people from Iraq, where Hisham eventually lived, meaning, he was the one who spread this claim (and him alone). Furthermore, in a book called Tehzeeb al-Tehzeeb, which is a well known book on the Prophet (pbuh) says that everything recalled by bin Urwa is reliable except for what has been recalled by the people of Iraq. Everything reported by the people of Iraq has been refuted.
Now into the details. According to scholars, Aisha was born around 8 years before Hijrah. In Bukhari, it says that at the time when Surah Al-Qamar was revealed, she was a young girl (jariya). This Surah was revealed 9 years before Hijrah. So if you assume “young girl” means 7-12 years old, then she was 14 to 19 years old when she got married.
Next, it stated in more than one source that Aisha journeyed with the Muslims in the battle of Badr and Uhud. No one under the age of 15 was allowed to go to the battle or take part in it in any way. Aisha participated in it, which means she must have been at least 13 or 14 when she got married.
Abu Bakr had four children, and all of them were born during the “Jahiliyyah,” the period of ignorance, or the pre-Islamic time. If Aisha was born during that time, she could not have been under 14 years old when she got married. According to Ibn Hajar, Fatimah was five years older than Aisha. Fatima was born when the Prophet was around 35 or 36 years old. Therefore, Aisha could not have been younger than 14 or 15 years old when she was married.
There are plenty of other sources that prove she was at least 14 or 15 years old when she was married. Those are just the ones I could think of.

You’re a fucking idiot and you shouldn’t speak a word of religion, especially of Islam.
